Tony Tuff first came to prominence in 1969 as part of The African Brothers alongside Sugar Minott and Derrick “Bubbles” Howard. After going solo in the mid-70s, he recorded for legendary producers like Coxsone Dodd (Studio One) and later King Jammy as Dancehall started to move towards a more digital sound.

In 1984, Tony released ‘Wha We A Go Do’ on the Top Rank label, and has been made available digitally for the first time in 2026. Featuring an all-star cast of musicians, from Sly Dunbar to Dean Fraser, the album touches all corners of Reggae music in fine style.
